- Titan AE
Combining traditional cel with 3-D animation techniques, this film is unlikely to sell quite as many toys as they hoped. You can't help loving a hero who perhaps holds the key to saving mankind if he's voiced by Matt Damon, can you? The unresolved question is why, if the Titan would create an exact replica of Earth, couldn't the bad guys just wait for it to be rebuilt and then destroy it again just as they did with the original? Besides that, there are enough twists to keep it interesting and the bad guys look really cool (isn’t that always the way?)
- Beau Travail
- Stuart Little
The tale of a mouse who someone ends up being adopted by a New York family and how he enventually becomes a part of the family. Michael J Fox and Nathan Lane are great as Stuart and Snowbell the cat while the whole thing is great fun.
- The Perfect Storm
- The Patriot
The problem with this film is that it is not meant as a film about the US Civil War in general but sometimes looks as though it is trying to be. It is just about one man and his family's fight within the Civil War, with a psychotic English (surprise!) guy. Oh yes, Heath Ledger too.
- Gone in sixty seconds
Or it's cool to steal cars because you can drive them really fast. The best part of the whole film is the only time that Vinnie Jones speaks and it is left right until the end. It is probably the best thing he'll ever do in his “acting” career, if that is saying anything at all.
