All these pages together list all the films that I have seen at the cinema since July 1999. Each is accompanied by some kind of opinion or review. The comments are supplied ‘as-is’ without any warranty whatsoever. Use of any recommendation is at your own risk. The price of popcorn can go up as well as UP. It’s your life and your choice.

If you’ve never heard of these films or just want to find out more about them, then try IMDB - the Internet Movie DataBase. I keep a local copy on my harddisc at all times, thanks to Rick Hudson’s marvellous MovieDB program for RISC OS.

If all you want to find out what real people thought of current films (without cast lists and other miscellaneous data, then try Ain’t it cool news - you can usually find out how badly a film sucks before it even comes out in the States.

For interest (or not), these films were seen in Brighton’s UGC (Brighton Marina, including when it was Virgin), Odeon, Cinematheque and Duke of York’s Picture House.. Or look at Brighton Life.

In other towns, I visited the Phoenix Picture House (Oxford), UPP (Ultimate Picture Palace, Oxford), ABC (Oxford), and UGC (West India Quay).

Well done Virgin for introducing the Megapass and then UGC for introducing their UGC unlimited card.
